We love Calabasas. Nestled in the hills west of the San Fernando Valley lies the beautiful town of Calabasas. Named after the Spanish word for pumpkin, due to the large amount of wild squash plants growing in the area, Calabasas has grown from its humble beginnings to a town with a population of over 20,000.  Calabasas has maintained its commitment to preserving its natural beauty as well as its historical treasures, such as upkeeping the King Gillette Ranch and the Leonis Adobe (the oldest surviving building in the Los Angeles area).  Calabasas also has a lot to offer its residents in the way of modern attractions, such as The Commons at Calabasas or the Gate's Canyon Park.
